I think that in the beginning, he really wasn’t even paying attention. Like, he noticed that she smelled interesting in the cave when he was cuddling up to her for warmth, but I don’t think he even really considered whether she was attractive or not beyond that. I’d say he started actually noticing her more once they were out of immediate danger and in the palace of Utgard
And I’d really say there’s a sort of gradual shift between when he’s first teasing her just to mess with her, and when he actually starts to become interested. Loki’s a flirt, but he’s pragmatic; catching feelings isn’t on his agenda, and once he starts to talk with her and bond with her, it becomes sort of a slippery slope! 💙
